Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 25, 2026

Welcome to Safe Harbor Family. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your access to or purchase of products and materials offered through Safe Harbor Family.

Safe Harbor Family is operated by Zirga Group LLC, doing business as Safe Harbor Family. By using this website, downloading free materials, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Products

Safe Harbor Family provides digital educational and organizational resources intended to help individuals and families prepare important information, documents, instructions, and emergency-planning materials.

Our products may include downloadable PDF documents, worksheets, checklists, planning systems, guides, and related digital materials.

No physical product will be shipped unless specifically stated otherwise.

2. Educational and Informational Purposes Only

Safe Harbor Family materials are provided for general educational, organizational, and informational purposes only.

They are not legal, financial, medical, insurance, tax, estate-planning, cybersecurity, or other professional advice.

Our materials are designed to help you organize information and consider issues that may be important to your family. They are not a substitute for advice from qualified professionals who can evaluate your individual circumstances.

You are responsible for deciding how to use the information and materials provided.

3. No Guarantee of Emergency Outcomes

Emergencies and unexpected events vary widely.

Safe Harbor Family does not guarantee that use of our materials will prevent loss, injury, financial harm, legal problems, delays, or other consequences during an emergency or unexpected event. The effectiveness of any emergency or continuity plan depends on factors outside our control, including the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, whether your materials are kept current, whether appropriate people know how to access them, and the circumstances of the particular event.

4. Digital Product Purchases

Paid Safe Harbor Family products are delivered electronically.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to that email account so that purchased materials can be delivered.

If you complete a purchase but do not receive your product, contact us at:

support@thesafeharborfamily.com

When contacting us about a purchase, please include the receipt number, invoice number, transaction number, or other purchase reference shown on your Stripe or Link receipt, along with the email address used for the purchase. This information helps us locate and verify the transaction and resolve the issue more quickly.

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve legitimate product-delivery or access problems.

5. Payments

Payments for Safe Harbor Family digital products will be processed through Stripe Managed Payments.

For these transactions, Sold through Link, LLC serves as the merchant of record and handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, payment receipts, fraud prevention, payment disputes, and transaction-related payment support.

Customers may also use Stripe or Link services to obtain assistance with their transactions, subject to Stripe's and Link's applicable terms and policies.

Safe Harbor Family remains responsible for the creation, delivery, quality, and product-specific support of the digital products offered through this website.

6. Refunds, Billing Issues, and Digital Products

Because Safe Harbor Family products are digital and are delivered electronically after purchase, sales are generally considered final once the product has been delivered, except where a refund is required by applicable law or provided under Stripe Managed Payments policies. Payment-related concerns, including suspected duplicate charges, billing errors, transaction disputes, and refund requests, may be handled through Stripe Managed Payments and Link transaction support. Customers may request transaction assistance through Link, including through information provided with their payment receipt.

Stripe may contact Safe Harbor Family when information or input regarding a transaction or refund request is needed. Stripe Managed Payments may also issue refunds in accordance with its applicable policies.

For product-specific problems, including failure to receive the purchased file, receipt of the wrong product, a damaged or unreadable file, or difficulty accessing the materials, contact:

support@thesafeharborfamily.com

Please include the receipt number, invoice number, transaction number, or other purchase reference provided with your Stripe or Link transaction, along with the email address used for the purchase, so we can locate the transaction.

Nothing in this policy limits rights provided by applicable consumer-protection law or by the policies governing Stripe Managed Payments transactions.

7. Personal-Use License

When you purchase or download a Safe Harbor Family product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the material for your own personal or household purposes.

You may print copies for use within your household and may store reasonable backup copies for your own use.

You may not resell, redistribute, publish, upload, share publicly, sublicense, reproduce for commercial purposes, or create competing products from Safe Harbor Family materials without prior written permission from Zirga Group LLC.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website and the Safe Harbor Family products, including text, graphics, branding, designs, worksheets, forms, layouts, downloadable materials, and other original content, are owned by or licensed to Zirga Group LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. “Safe Harbor Family” and related branding may not be used in a manner that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or authorization without our written permission.

9. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter into or store with Safe Harbor Family materials.

You should review your emergency and family-continuity information periodically and update it when circumstances change.

You are also responsible for deciding where completed materials are stored, who may access them, and what sensitive information you choose to include.

Safe Harbor Family does not receive, store, or maintain the information you write into printed or locally saved copies of our downloadable products unless you separately provide that information to us.

10. Sensitive Information

Some Safe Harbor Family materials may prompt you to organize information relating to financial accounts, insurance, identification, digital accounts, health information, or other sensitive matters.

Use reasonable care when recording and storing such information.

Do not place passwords, full account credentials, Social Security numbers, or similarly sensitive information in locations that may be easily accessed by unauthorized persons unless you have independently determined that your storage method is appropriately secure.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate security measures for completed materials.

11. Website Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of this website or our products at any time.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, software program, printer, or PDF reader.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

This website may use or link to third-party services, websites, payment providers, or other resources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security practices, or policies of third-party websites or services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of those providers.

13. Our Commitment and Disclaimer of Warranties

Safe Harbor Family is committed to creating practical, carefully developed resources that provide genuine value to families. We make every reasonable effort to produce materials that are accurate, useful, thoughtfully organized, and of a quality that meets or exceeds what customers should reasonably expect from products in this category.

We also work to correct legitimate problems when they are brought to our attention and to provide reasonable assistance when a customer has difficulty receiving or using a purchased product.

However, every family and every emergency or unexpected circumstance is different. No planning resource can anticipate every situation, guarantee a particular outcome, or replace professional advice when professional assistance is appropriate.

Accordingly, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and digital products are provided without guarantees regarding a particular result, outcome, or suitability for every individual circumstance.

Zirga Group LLC does not make warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms or those that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zirga Group LLC, Safe Harbor Family, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the website or products.

To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from a particular purchased product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Prohibited Use

You may not use this website or our materials for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, gain unauthorized access to our systems, distribute malicious software, misrepresent your relationship with Safe Harbor Family, or use our materials in violation of our intellectual-property rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website, or our products will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly referenced on this website, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and our products.
